Vision
Vision - Definition from Oxford Languages: noun, the faculty or state of being able to see.
I am surprised with the unique vision that we all have. Vision is as much a concept or feeling as much as a physical sight. I have photos that deeply speak to me. They may be well liked or found not interesting to others. At the end of the day they speak to me and I can be satisfied with that.
It is interesting to see what speaks to others. Some of my works bring others joy in ways I do not appreciate. I can find fault in the composition or the exposure or I simply have no emotional response to them. But in some way the art speaks to the viewer and for that I am grateful and blessed that I can share it with someone.
I leave you now with these quotes……
A spirit with a vision Is a dream with a mission - Rush
“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.” - Ansel Adams
“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.” – Dorothea Lange
“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.” - Henri Cartier-Bresson
